community rules

Keep rooms good.

Watch2Live is built for shared sessions. Public rooms should stay welcoming and legal.

01Community standards

Clear rules for shared spaces.

These standards apply across public discovery, private rooms, room chat, support and Watch2Live-connected sessions.

01

Respect other people

No harassment, threats, hate speech, stalking or targeted abuse.

02

Use lawful media access

Only watch or share media you are legally allowed to access.

03

No piracy distribution

Do not use rooms to distribute copyrighted files, keys or unauthorized downloads.

04

Keep public rooms accurately labeled

Room titles and movie labels should describe what people are joining.

05

No deceptive invites

Do not disguise a room link as another service, file or destination.

06

Protect private links

Share private invite links only with people you trust.

07

No credential collection

Never ask room members for passwords, recovery codes or payment credentials.

08

No malware or harmful links

Do not post executables, scripts or links intended to compromise another device.

09

No doxxing

Do not reveal private addresses, phone numbers or sensitive personal records.

10

No impersonation

Do not pretend to be Watch2Live staff, another user or a public organization.

11

No spam

Repeated messages, mass invites and disruptive promotional posting are not allowed.

12

No automated flooding

Bots or scripts must not flood chat, room joins or support forms.

13

No hate-based communities

Public rooms cannot be organized around demeaning protected groups.

14

No credible threats

Threats of violence or targeted intimidation can result in immediate removal.

15

No sexual content involving minors

Any sexualized content involving minors is strictly prohibited.

16

Keep room names appropriate

Public titles, descriptions and display names must remain suitable for discovery.

17

Use reasonable display names

Names may be creative but cannot impersonate staff or contain targeted abuse.

18

Do not evade moderation

Creating new rooms or identities to bypass an enforcement action is prohibited.

19

Report security issues responsibly

Send reproducible security reports through Support instead of exploiting users.

20

Do not probe other users

Avoid port scanning, fingerprinting or attempting to identify another member.

21

Respect rate limits

Do not intentionally bypass client or service rate limits.

22

No fraudulent payments

Pro purchases and account access must use legitimate payment methods.

23

Protect your account

You are responsible for maintaining control of your own account and device.

24

Keep software current

Use current Watch2Live builds when possible to receive compatibility and security fixes.

25

Download from official pages

Only trust Watch2Live downloads linked from the official Watch2Live domain.

26

Understand unsigned builds

An unsigned build may trigger SmartScreen; verify the source before running it.

27

No reverse abuse tooling

Research is welcome, but tools designed mainly to attack users or the service are not.

28

Respect public-room hosts

Hosts may set the pace, remove disruptive participants and close their session.

29

Do not sabotage playback

Repeated seek, pause or queue abuse in shared-control rooms is disruptive behavior.

30

Keep chat readable

Avoid excessive caps, repeated emoji walls and intentionally unreadable formatting.

31

Use Support for support

Operational issues belong in Support rather than being spammed across public rooms.

32

Provide accurate support details

Do not submit knowingly false abuse reports or fabricated incident information.

33

Respect privacy notices

Read disclosed support and telemetry notices before submitting information.

34

Rules apply across clients

These rules apply to the website, Watch2Live, public rooms and related official services.

35

Enforcement may vary

Responses can include warnings, room removal, feature limits or access suspension.

36

Rules can evolve

The policy may be updated as the platform and its community features change.

37

Support request security data

When you submit the Support form, the request may include your public IP address and approximate country or region for abuse prevention, rate-limit enforcement and ticket security. Routine page visits and Watch2Live downloads do not create this support record.

38

Approximate location only

Support location data is derived from the public IP address and is approximate. Watch2Live does not request GPS coordinates through the Support form.
